Biography: Kenneth Heintz received a B.S. from the Lowell Textile Institute and his M. Ed. and Ed. D. from the University of New York. He joined the faculty at Stout in 1970 as an associate professor in the Apparel, Textiles and Design Department. Heintz was a popular instructor at Stout repeatedly placing in the top five percent in outstanding teaching polling. While at Stout, he played a key role in introducing courses such as weaving and Home Economics in Business. He was also the first faculty member to receive a Hormel Professorship. He retired in 1991. Description: The collection includes slides, correspondence, designs, and information on the Dance Club and the Apparel, Textiles and Design Department.
